The National Youth Science Foundation andFIRST®, founded by Dean Kamen, invite you to participate in FIRST by mentoring students in its robotics programs for K-12. A leader in inspiring science, technology, engineering, and mathematics,FIRST is seeking mentors for a record-breaking year. This is an opportunity for you to use your education, training, and experience to directly encourage excellence in STEM education.
A non-profit organization founded in 1989 to inspire young people’s interest and participation in science and technology, FIRST presents accessible, innovative programs that motivate young people to pursue education and career opportunities in STEM fields, while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills.
