In addition to consideration of vehicle length vs trailer length, knowing how to balance the weight of your trailer relevant to the trailer axle(s) is very important, particularly for safety.

Artificial photosynthesis

Most of these devices lose efficiency the longer they work. This one gains it.
Plants are living things, and like all living things, they need energy to grow, reproduce, and just keep on living.
Most harvest this fuel through photosynthesis, using solar energy to convert water and carbon dioxide into chemical energy useful for life.
Now, researchers are homing in on an artificial photosynthesis device that could let us do the same trick, turning sunlight and water into clean-burning hydrogen fuel for our cars, homes, and more.
Solar cells already let us convert sunlight into electricity. Artificial photosynthesis devices, however, use sunlight to turn water or carbon dioxide into liquid fuels, such as hydrogen or ethanol.
These can be stored more easily than electricity and used in different ways, allowing them to substitute

Tribute to JC Parry

The STEM acronym was created in Arlington in 2001. And JC Parry was an important part of just about every STEM initiative in Northern Virginia in that first decade and beyond. He pioneered many statewide courses in Engineering Education, and participated in all of our regional Math in CTE (Career and Technical Education), and STEM and CTE programs promoting interdisciplinary teaching.
Of course, as an Air Force Captain and engineer, JC inspired many young pilots in Arlington, who secured their initial pilot license through him. Many also had their first flying experience with JC, as he regularly volunteered his time on weekends at the Manassas Airport.
JC was a foundational instructor for the first Governor's Career and Technical Academy (in Arlington), the Governor's STEM Academy that became the foundation for Arlington Tech in 2016. He was a leader in dual enrollment initiatives with Northern Virginia Community College, and he was my go-to teacher for piloting initiatives for the new Northern Virginia STEM program, Systemic Solutions, back in 2013. He helped us significantly with the many other regional initiatives, always offering his classroom for Chamber of Commerce Education and Workforce meetings, many pilot programs for Arlington Community Learning, and connecting parents and the businesses community to the Arlington Career Center.
We started teaching together at the Career Center together at the turn of the century, and even shared an office for several years.

from NOVA Workforce IT Sector Planning Next Steps
The follow-up session to the Building Regional Career Pathways event on September 15, 2016 focused on how to partner together to build successful career pathways for in-demand occupations as directed by WIOA with a focus on the Greater Washington region and the Information Technology sector. Emphasis was on Northern Virginia Technology Council’s (NVTC) December report on in-demand careers, skills needed by job-seekers, employer engagement and training partners to assist job-seekers on NOVA’s training options/guided career pathways. On February 15th we held this follow-up and was provided with valuable feedback.
We are now preparing for the next phase of this work. The proposed model (LINK) is intended to show how students can start at any of our organizations (Adult Ed, Workforce Development Boards, post-secondary institutions, or community-based organizations) in order to access the Regional IT Career Pathway we will develop. The idea is that this regional pathway will serve all students: some students will have a high-level of support needed as they complete basic skills; others will access the pathway with more advanced skills. Some will enter the workforce after attaining IT fundamentals training, and may return later; still others will pursue more advanced training immediately after their initial skills-development. Along the way, we will support students with the wrap-around services available through our region-wide partners. To further develop this concept will demand input from all of our partners in order to reflect the best strategy for meeting the needs of our community.
We have five sessions in April that will last 60-90 minutes and take place via Meet Me Conference. We understand that due to scheduling constraints, a call-in option is necessary. With that in mind, please register for one or more events of your interest:
