The rankings are based on the ratio of AP or IB exams to graduating seniors. In the past, Matthews has acknowledged Dual Enrollment programs but has suggested that there is insufficient or incomplete data to use them in the rankings. But because the participating dual enrollment higher education partners must report them to each state, this needs to be challenged.
The data among the higher ranking schools can now be sorted by state, ocality (city), and "equity and excellence" index, and subsidized lunches. But the ranking continues to co-mingle high schools with alternative programs not subject to the same rules and regulation.

MIT AppInventor
MIT App Inventor is a blocks-based programming tool that allows everyone, even novices, to start programming and build fully functional apps for Android devices. Newcomers to App Inventor can have their first app up and running in an hour or less, and can program more complex apps in significantly less time than with more traditional, text-based languages.
